How to learn multiplication table?
Multiplication shouldn't be "cramming". It's a process. Here is our recommended system for a successful start.
1Understand what multiplication is
Before starting to memorize, the child must *see*. Go to the **Learning hub** and choose a number.
- Show the child that 3x4 is the same as 3 piles of 4 apples.
- Use "Blocks" mode to show the multiplication area.
2Develop speed in game
When the principle is clear, it's time to train. The game is designed to encourage not only correct but also fast answers.
Tip:Start with "Explorer" level. Move to "Advanced" only when the child scores at least 500 points without mistakes.
Try game 3Consolidate on paper
Screens are good, but handwriting creates different connections in the brain.
- For the weekend, print "Road to school".
- For a quick check, use the "Standard generator" (e.g., in 5 min).
Success formula: weekly plan
Monday - Tuesday
Learning hub: Take one new number (e.g., x6). Analyze it visually for 10 min.
Wednesday - Thursday
Game: Play for 15 min. Goal - improve "Combo" score with that number.
Weekend
Paper: Solve one generated sheet in a quiet environment (e.g., "Block world").
What to DO?
- Praise for effort ("good job for trying again"), not just for intelligence.
- Learn in short intervals. 15 min daily is better than 2 hours on Sunday.
What to AVOID?
- Never say "you're just bad at math". This programs for failure.
- Don't try to learn the whole table in a week. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
